Reed Hermstad is Founder and Executive Director of 4Gens.  4Gens is an international ministry focused on Equipping and Encouraging youth to be Disciples of Christ.  4Gens engages families to be disciplers of their youth, grandchildren and future generations.  4Gens utilizes a Discovery Learning application called P/elements to provide the foundation and framework of faith to a family.

Reed has been spiritually coaching families for over 30 years in one-to-one, group and virtual formats.   His love of inter-generational ministry for Christ is the focus that drives his actions.

Chief Operations Officer

Judy Hermstad manages all operational aspects of 4Gens.  Her experience as a Financial Director in the for-profit world has been invaluable to 4Gens.  She also brings a wealth of  experience from a life of ministry to women, children and small groups.

She has participated for decades in discipleship for Christ, embracing multi-generational ministry from birth through death, with expertise in grief ministry.

We are committed first and foremost to the absolute authority of God’s Word as the source of all such truth.

Our mission is to lead future generations into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord because the ultimate purpose and meaning of life is to know, glorify and enjoy God in this life and eternity.

 

#3: AUTHENTICITY & HUMILITY

We will not pretend to be what we are not, but will always speak and act out of what we know to be true, will admit what we do not know, and will acknowledge the work of God’s hand by grace in all we do.

We are committed to efficiency and integrity in the use of all resources that God places at our disposal to carry out His mandate and purpose so that lives are transformed.

We believe God ordained the family as the foundational institution of human society. It is composed of persons related to one another by marriage, blood or adoption. (Genesis 1:27-28; 2:19-24, Matt.19:4-6).


  #7: MARRIAGE

Marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant for a lifetime. (Genesis 2:24).

  #8: SEXUALITY

Sexual intimacy belongs only within the marital relationship of a man and a woman. This was the design established by God at creation. (Genesis 1:27-28; 2:19-24, Matt.19:4-6).
